ET,
Kurdish thing is a big deal, especially for the Turks. There is no way that the Kurds at some point in the future wont want an independent Kurdistan that will include territory from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Turkey and Iran. You know the TV show Everyone Loves Raymond. Well in that part of the world its Everyone hates the Kurds. And the Kurds will not easily give up national ambitions. This is a very big deal. There are always warring clans--its a combination of afgan politics with Israeli type territorial considerations.

You calling me "tiresome" is beautiful, E.T., especially considering the fact that I do not remember ever responding to your posts out of the blue, but about half of all posts I find in my inbox are from you. Here I was, away for an hour or so, I have six messages, three from you.

And now here you are moving an issue from another thread into this one:

Zonder, you said earlier that hearsay does not a fact make and I asked you to show when in history tens of thousands of peoples' accusations against thier own regime for genocide, murder, rape and torture, have been proven wrong

(1) I said that about Uday's alleged choosing women from nightclubs for rape and occasional murder. It was you who decided I was talking about murder, torture, etc etc...

(2) Show me tens of thousands of Iraqis' accusations, and we'll talk about it. What you are talking about is your own goverment saying so, which gave us "incubator babies".

(3) Besides, who is disputing that Iraq is a brutal dictatorship, anyway???

you avoid the essence of issues people present here with a nonsense call to be directed to a link, which, when you disagree, scorn as a "crappy" link or ignore.

I have a good idea - since you don't like the way I argue, don't reply to my posts again.
