By the way, Haley Barbour was raising lots of money in Hong Kong and Taiwan during the Clinton years for the RNC. Only he was tricky and had offshore PAC's outside US regulatory jurisdiction. Later on the money was funneled into the US elections game. It is illegal to raise $$ from foreign nationals but some of his donors were. Haley Barbour is the biggest soft money hog, inflence peddler, rules cheat and horse trader of polluters rights for campaign contributions in DC. WwrodlCom gave Trent Lott $1,000,000 cash and fellow Mississippian Barbour got his brother, a judge, to verturn a shareholders class actgion suit against WorldCom which had merit. But Bush in Texas set a standard. Give Bush $$ and you can pollute all you want. No questions asked. Read "The Dirty Truth" a book with all the stats, numbers, names and proof. 250 pages worth just on Bush and Texas polluters.
