France and others oppose Bush because from the beginning Bush came off as arrogant, the cowboy bully and snubbed his nose at Kyoto Treaty and other concerns of theirs.

Clinton didn't approve of Kyoto either, he just conveniently didn't handle it and left it for his replacement (kick the can you know...same thing with Star Wars). Signing Kyoto would have been us agreeing to economically cripple ourselves, so they should not have expected us to sign it.

If I recall correctly, Germany was the first one to start insulting Bush, not the other way around.

On another note, you really need to get over the 2000 election. "Let it go" so to speak.
