its not very good for foreign relations, nor is it good diplomacy to call people names. Its not good manners, etiquettes, business sense either....

It doesn't resolve issues. It does more harm - doesn't do *any* good.

Its not a good way to negotiate with a competitor, else all CEOs would be calling each other 'evil' and 'pygmy' to prove their points. All politicians would be doing the same to each other....

Its not done on individual levels without repercussions. It shouldn't be done on political levels without expecting repurcussions. Its useless slander, and just because someone else does it, it doesn't mean we demean ourselves to their level...

The question then is - why do it? Did that make him *feel* better? And what of the results?

Do unto others...and all that sh*t, y'know!

JMHO...of course.

Sorry Timmy, I disagree...imagine that!

When you deal with North Korea, you know you are dealing with essentially a snot nosed brat. But we were heading them in the right direction, slowly. At least we were keeping them somewhat contained. You think it is a better situation now? I believe it to be a far less manageable situation.

Even if W's comments were on mark (is there ever a good reason for personal cuts in international discourse?), it is not prudent to say such things in public. You are cutting off your nose to spite your face.

My dislike of Bush is from observing the man.
