What if the U.N. refuses to withdraw the inspectors before war? Say for example they believe strongly in "exhausting all options before going to war," to the point that they won't leave?

I would find it shocking, should America so notifiy the UN they needed to withdraw the inspectors, if the UN failed to act.

Hell, by all accounts, some of the peaceniks are having second thoughts at this point...some are reportedly leaving Iraq as they feel they are being used for "propaganda" purposes, or because they didn't know Saddam was welcoming them to stay at military locations.

Well, that is a good question. However, once the tanks begin to roll, you can bet, they will too. Actually, France might try it, but I don't think it would get too far. But at this point, I guess nothing is beyond comprehension anymore.
