My point in calling it the "Clinton" bubble is to use the same yardstick that liberals are using in calling this the Bush recession. Apparently, the Clinton years have no negative bearing on the recession, and furthermore, apparently Congress has no effect one way or the other.

I personally do not give much credit to the effect that the President has on the economy in the short term, and his effects longer term are usually limited by his term in office.
