You're talking to a brick wall. People have their worldviews set and will do anything to justify them. It's just human nature to defend your worldview at all costs. Including, labeling your opponents all sorts of things which may are may not be fair labels. I agree that the Bushies agenda of feeding the rich with tax breaks at the expense of wage earners is a bad idea. The idle rich in this country hardly need another tax break. Wage earners can use all the help they can get. But, that's what the wage earners have voted for. There just aren't that many rich people around to vote the Republicans into office in any big way. The Republicans have huge support amongst the working people of America, or else they'd be a minority party for sure. Probably due to the conservative social values of many working people. Certainly, the Republican's economic agenda isn't geared towards working people. Where's the prescription drug benefit they've been talking about for years now? Why do the Republicans want to make it harder for average Joes to file for bankruptcy? A huge boon to their corporate clients in the banking sector.

Most democrat programs are socialist, and I don't like them one bit, capish?

I couldn't care less whether you like GW or not. It is the republican philosophy that I am referring to. Nowhere else on earth is a person given the opportunities to advance their lot in life like the US (that is why we are saddled with a huge illegal immigration problem in case you hadn't heard) and as far as I can see it is liberals that would like to take that idea down a few notches. Anyone against the idea of creating, and preserving wealth for ones self is a victim of class envy.

It is amazing how one's pov changes when he or she manages to increase their wealth. Those who think that others should benefit from the labor of hard working people are wrong. There are those of us who ask for an opportunity to excel and those that don't. I won't take responsibility for the lazy. The socialist in government force that "choice" on me.
