The river is too shallow to motor up. Well that isn't totally accurate as the DNR goes up and down with a jet boat but too shallow for my pontoon. We just keep that at the lake. We have a 33' travel trailer with a slide out that we keep parked on Ojaski lake which is part of the Chetek chain. Put it in in the spring and take it out in the fall. They really don't trailer too bad though and load quite easily with the crank up trailers. In fact it probably loads easier then my old bass boat when it's windy.
