I was looking for health insurance a few months ago. Blue Cross ended up being the best & cheapest for my situation (very heathly, non-smoker).

I found Blue Shield to be cheapest too, however your best bet is via a group policy of some kind. Alumni organizations offer them, and trade groups typically promote some for their members.

Fatty, if you are young & healthy - no pre -existing conditions Golden Rule Insurance is a good choice. mike
