It is scary that the government is getting us to accept them prying into all our affairs in the name of fighting terrorism. What happens when someone who is a member of a political organization who the government doesn't like flies somewhere? This opens the door for political persecution. A peaceful but anti-government organization can be given a coding that will ensure the members get hassled and strip searched every time they fly anywhere. The could be labeled a potential threat just because the government doesn't like them.
