Go to that weblink...there is a home page...you will see that George Szamuely is someone who writes for several of the links that Scott sends along. I don't know this guy either, and certainly don't like what he wrote...but then again, some people in France probably do know him, and respond in kind toward the US. If you do look at the article, you will see that he thinks the Americans (inc Clinton) had no business being in Bosnia, the numbers were all squed (?sp) as far as the number of deaths, he jumps on the NYTimes as well for making up numbers....and says the same thing about Iraq. That's why I said it was an equal opportunity 'piece of work'.... BTW, I've found that if I write my "reply" on an email page, then I can read whatever link, or look up something, and not lose the person's note I wanted to reply to....just cut and paste from the email to the Reply to Post #whatever....
