I don't view war as a partisan thing
I don't directly, I view this war as a Carlyle thing. That is, I think Bush and some of his favorite supporters intend to get a lot of power and money from this war. The group involved can losely be defined by the Carlyle members, but includes others that they have either promised direct payments to, or virtual monopolies (such as News Corp).

This group is not inheriently partisan, although they currently make use of the Republican party for tactical reasons. I think it is best described as a cabel. The was is but one of their means to a greedy end.

What? You're telling them the truth? That their opposition is totally and entirely partisan? That these are The Usual Suspects that oppose this war? That, for all the gnashing of teeth and crying about innocent victims they do and chanting of "Give Peace A Chance", they said NOTHING about Slick Willie's military ventures? That then they sat back and watched and cheered? That the fact the Yugoslavia posed ABSOLUTELY NO POSSIBLE THREAT EVER to the US did not get them off their fat butts to protest US intervention there?

That if Clinton were proposing this invasion of Iraq, they would be all for it?

That the REAL reason they oppose this is that it is being proposed by a Republican Administration?

What are you doing, man? They like to pretend they are idealists. You're ruining their self-image!

Your going to be sued for wanton destruction of self-esteem.
