I believe I'll hold my shares.

"According to the investor presentation, the special distribution equates to about $1.15 a share in cash and $2.30 a share in common stock."

So roughly, on a $20 stock, that would suggest an after- distribution price now of $16.55. A 7.25% yield, if $1.20 is paid out annually. That's not such a great yield. Maybe the stock price will come down to reflect a yield closer to 8% as we see on several other REITS? OTOH, the assets of the company (attractive California real estate) would work to help keep the stock price up. (NAV) And maybe that dividend could bring more interested investors to the stock?

I do not know.

I'll hold because I see no reason to sell.
