The US does not have that many troops deployed yet. Part of it is a bluff. It's going to take months to amass that kind of strength. This I got from a General interviewed on TV who admitted many major units had not left the US yet. That was a couple days ago. Others just set sail. The Nimitz just set sail today. We are not ready for war yet, especially without a Turish northern front. But the Turkish front may cause a Kurdish civil war so it's a pickle.

John Major was on Hardball today talking about how this is going to be a lot messier and bloodier than the Gulf War. Saddam may throw everything he has at us and blow up all his oil-fields as well. Because he has nothing to lose. I was surprised Major was so honest considering he works for the Carlyle Group now. The man has integrity, unlike the GOP Senator on Hardball who insisted Saddam was connected with Al Qaida. A bald-faced lie he told with a straight face to fool Americans. Democrat Senators like Feinstein and Clinton have seen the same intel files and have stated there is no such evidence. But the GOP does a lot of lying for Bush these days. Sad. If Bush had any such evidence he'd have 100% backing and would have shown it. That Senator ought to be chucked out of office.
