I get all confused about integrity and character.....We need it in the board room but not from our Presidents???....Is that the left's actual position?

Enron was Bush-GOP's baby. Lay did give money to some influential Democrats. But Lay was running Bush's campaign operations out of the Enron offices and let them use Enron jets for free. Lay paid Ralph Reed and his christian soldiers as Enron employees and had them working for Bush. Anything Bush wanted Lay laid out. Enron was Bush's #1 contributor by far. No one else even close. Lay also paid for the innauguation party for Bush. As a result, Lay was also Bush's first choice to be Secretary of Treasury. Lucky fore Bush Lay turned the job down.

Lay gave Hillary Clinton $2000 and Bush millions. If that's bi-partisan giving I'm a Republican just because I like John McCain. Not even close, pal.

As for this Johnny Chung, so he paid for guests to contribute and they caught him. Kerry nor his people would not have any way of knowing this and are blameless. And I can tell you they are very careful about such things now.
I am a Kerry fundraiser now and everything has to be very kosher. If a contributor even has a hint of sleaze to him the money is given back immediately.

Even repeating the silly trivial story is really a stretch.
Anyone who brings a date or friends to a fundraiser pays for them but since November it's been illegal so everyone has to be careful. It is nothing compared to the hundreds of millions in corporate soft money that has flown into the Bushie coffers. I repeat, John Kerry is dirt-free. Good luck finding any.
