This is what happens when eternal optimism (good thing) becomes married to over reaching hubris (bad thing). Also on the show Brinker was emphatically telling one caller that he believed that market timing was possible and that those who didn't believe in market timing were in the buy and hold crowd. It was quite a leap in hubris from a guy who put many people in the buy and hold crowd because of his failed market timing. Clearly, Brinker is trying like mad to sell the newsletter to the uninitiated.
