To the best of my knowledge, nobody here tried to argue that Iraq is a nice country to live in, that there is no oppression, etc.

As I have said TO YOU on numerous occasions: SO WHAT???

The question is whether or not the US can or should intervene in every country where people live lives we find pitiful.

Oh yes? Pray tell what my "agenda" is, Sherlock. I am dying to hear all about my own secret agenda posing as a, uh, "no agenda" person on SI. Convert SI posters to Islam? Rally support for Iraq? Work as agent provocateur to conjure up anti-American sentiment among Americans?
