We Freeps are happy Costco members, but out here in Cali, anyway, I can find gas as cheap or cheaper at any number of stations. Heck, even at some major chains gas is only 3 cents a gallon more expensive. I don't know how this will impact Costco's earnings, but at least for me, I would likely use up half a gallon to get to the store, thus negating any savings. That's not why we're members. We're members cuz I can buy 7 lbs of arborio rice for cheap! the freep, who's owned that rice for 4 years now
