That was four years ago when government had plenty of money and county bureaucrats were afraid that if they didn't spend the money they would lose their own jobs. >> You are very correct here! I know one lady who got an MS in Social Studies (well, in those classes they just have potlucks, party mostly...any real good learning? I doubt it). Then she worked as social worker and I think her pay is even better (I think 50% more right now)than my brother in Silicon Valley who is EE engineer and works 15+ years. And what does this lady do? Well she just goes to visit immigrants who have some mental(?) or family problems and chit chat... That is it! Too bad I should have taken 3 or 4 MS in social studies than an MS in engineering and worry for job loss all the time, and stress at work!
