Once again, you are print half truths. You have a problem with the "Oil for Food Program"? You equate purchases through this program, with production contracts? You realize of course, that President Clinton is largely responsible for the (Oil for Food) program. The reason for the program, was that Saddam was happily letting hundreds of thousands of Iraqis starve to death, under the old UN sanctions program. The "Oil for Food Program" trys to insure that Iraqi oil is used for food and medicine for the long suffering Iraqi people, while preserving sanctions against Saddams military and weapons programs. Frankly, it does not surprise me that you are willing to defend a man responsible for as many deaths as Pol Pot (Saddam), just because he opposes the President of the United States - disappointed, but not surprised. re:"We get part of our oil from Iraq, whatever the deal that's true.
