If the student needs that explained to them, then I seriously doubt saying it would change any of their views. Most likely they don't care either way.

If I said "yes," would you no longer consider the Pledge to be "unconstitutional"?

By the way, you know the guy who brought the lawsuit in the first place is speaking on behalf of a daughter who wants no part of her father's anti-God crusade? Rather ironic, considering how he is trying to force his anti-God views on his daughter, not to mention the rest of this nation.
