<<It is really just an elegant form of gambling>>
OK, but is it more like James Bond playing Chemin de Fer or more like 19th century English aristocrats playing Whist?

re elegant gambling.remember how james bond would bet on rulette?bets spread across combinations of numbers and colors.rather then one big bet ,hit or miss, he would acept a smaller pay off but hope to come out ultimately ahead.
at one of the more famous london clubs,Boodles in the 18th century ,it is said that a very large fortune was wagered on which of two rain drops would arrive first at the bottom of a window pain.now that is elegant betting.gg
