You forget how many (now middle aged) Iranians, Iraqi's, Kuwaiti's and Saudi's that are now moving into the ruling/governing class.....were educated and lived here in America during the 1970's-1980's. They loved freedom. They loved Technology. They loved Capitalism. They love America...they went to our movies, they read Playboy, they drank our Johnnie Walker Black & Jack Daniels, they listened to our music and danced our dances....then went home and and had to put the Robes back on and live their fathers lives; but now they've risen over time to the ruling class and it will matter little, whether we drag them, or lead them into the New Millenium of Freedom, Democracy & Capitalism....they're going...and it's coming. And HellF'N-Yes; IT MOST CERTAINLY - IS ABOUT- OIL !!!!!!!! Not always "all" about OIL...but always in some context, it's about Oil as OIL drives the modern economy and will for another 20+ years and if the by-prouct of another 2 decades of Cheap Free Flowing Oil is that we drag the Arab World into the 21st Century...so be it. ... a little good ole' fashioned Yankee-Imperialism never hurt anyone. They'll be a freekin McDonalds, or Blockbuster on every corner of the mid-east in 5 years. Iraq now, Saudi tomorrow and Iran soon...and Korea via the economic squeeze. ;)
