Don't be so defensive Bob. I think you were "spot on" about the advantage of income versus expenses the first quarter.

However, I remember that Richard had said when he first announced his acquisition plan that the deals would be immediately accretive or not done. Silly me I thought he meant even beyond the first quarter. I guess we should be looking forward to a number of these mergers early in the third month of each quarter. <g>

Bob, I'm pulling your leg. But I don't think I improperly inferred what you were trying to imply. Of course, no one can predict whether fluid acquisitions are really going to be accretive beyond the first quarter but I think it is reasonable for Richard to expect so...even if the entire quarter's expenses are included.<g> He's too smart to predict it, however. Murphy's law.
