Hopefully by the time you return, Clappy and I will be all thawed out. Yur trip sounds great. Altair18 and I are hoping to play some golf in Rhode Island next week...their Spring kinda sneaks up near the ocean...translation:(no snow on the ground). But, we have fun.

What's yer itinerary?

I know you are and heading to Niples and leaving from some
where in the Pan Handle. Was it Pensicola or Tallahasse
or sumptin?

Are you heading as the crow flies or more like the pelican
flies (closer to the coastline)? Sumptin tells me its more
like the former. At least that sounds like it would be
more adventurous.

You'll probably aim for the big letters out in the middle
of the water that say "GULF OF MEXICO". Keep an eye out
for them and try to take a picture. Get one of you peeing
in the "O".

Here'a picture if you can't figure out what I'm talking
about.

Every map I've ever seen has those letters in approximately
the same spot. So put it on your GPS and till over there.

I hope you plan on writing the travel log and taking tonnes
of pictures. It's the only way we can feel like we
traveled it with you.

I'll tip my beer towards Naples on St. Patrick's Day. I
thought you said it was St. Patrick's Day 2001. I was
already there. Waited for you for a while but had to leave.

Are you going to the parade in town? It was fun when I was there.

Is the boat going to stay in Naples long? Or just for this
trip? I think you told me once but I forget. Is it going
to be docked down in the canals somewhere?

I would have loved to have met you down there.
