RW,

RE: "it's annoys and frustrates me to no end that I didn't buy the futures for a 400% pop, instead of the E&P stocks for 20%."

I am finding the issue of futures vs. stocks to be a very interesting issue. We are seeing both precious metal stocks and E&P stocks, to a large degree, not reacting to large increases in the prices of the commodities. This is very vexing to me...my guess is that this is happening for a variety of reasons, including:

1) "The market" doesn't think price increases in precious metals and oil/natural gas is sustainable
2) Market participants are still infatuated with tech and other market sectors to really care about precious metal and E&P plays
3) In the case of precious metal shares, apparent shorting seems to be holding back many of the larger companies, thus giving the appearance that the shares are not naturally reacting to precious metal increases
