That is certainly a sad moment for American democracy and for the Democratic party. And speaks volumes about how rotten our campaign finance system is and the moral depravity of the Clinton administration. I'm certainly not going to defend Clinton accepting money from a foreign government, especially scumbags like the Chinese.
