Once again, you deal in half truths and distortions. Go to any site that has information on Iraq's military - show me the Iraqi tanks, howitzers, jet fighters, bombers, missiles, or light arms that have an American manufacturer.

re:" And we were the ones who armed Saddam in the first place back in the 80's"

To say that the U.S. deals in Iraqi oil, is another distortion. You imply, that the U.S. is dealing with the Iraqi Government just like the French. The U.S. purchases oil, of Iraqi origin, that goes into a fund controlled by the UN, NOT the IRAQI GOVERNMENT. This money is used by the UN to purchase food and medicine for Iraqi civilians. The French and Russians have business deals and contracts with the Iraqi Government.

In short, The United States buys Iraqi oil, to feed Iraqis, Saddam would otherwise kill, by starving them to death. The French and Russians are in development deals, that depend upon Sanctions being lifted, and Saddam remaining in power.

re:"Who cares when it started? The US deals in Iraqi oil right now. That the Limbaughs who villify France and Germany dont tell you
