"Less efficient and flexible production results in less total output. Less total output is another way of saying the total production has been reduced"

First of all, that assertion is nonsensical. It doesn't matter whether I feed my 25 kids with an auger, a shovel, or a fork...they are going to eat. And they are going to eat just what they were eating yesterday before I sold the combine and the cow. It doesn't matter whether you cut up a cow with a buzz saw or a paring knife. The cow don't get no bigger, my friend. You don't cut up more or less of the cow just because you got a plug-in.

Reducing the amount of CO2 does not necessitate reducing production...no more than putting catalytic converters on cars forced us to stop driving cars.
