I went through a religious phase as a kid, and there's no doubt it was because my parents sent me to a religious school. I could see being influenced by religion in a public school as well.

Please. You aren't ACTUALLY trying to suggest that saying the word "God" in the Pledge is "religion in a public school". Please tell me you aren't taking a position that ridiculous.
