The markets HATES the Bush tax programs. HATES them.
The market knows. The market LOVED CLinton's balanced budget initiatives, paying off debt, even with higher taxes everyone won. That's the right way. Run a tight ship not a credit card mentality. What a bad example Bush is setting for every household. As if debt doesn't matter.

I think that progressive tax rates has the end effect of preventing class warfare. When the lower classes have very little and have to pay much of that to the govt., it breeds more resentment of the upper class, not less.
