When we go to war, do you hope America wins decisively and quickly with minimum casualties to our troops?

Wrong question, Michael. As I've typed, I not only don't think we should be doing this but I think the negative consequences of doing it and of the way we are doing it will be, unfortunately, large.

As for the question you ask, however, I would hope that the casualties on both sides would be as few as possible. How could one hope otherwise? One of the problems, however, is that we are unlikely ever to know, in any reliable way, just what the Iraqi casualties were.

2 points :
- "America wins" is a misnomer : Will the Iraqi population be rid of a dictator ?

- If/when US goes to war, regardless of the discussions, protests, opinions voiced etc, I would hope that the US population would support our troops putting their lives on the line for the duration of the conflict. At that time, its "end of arguments" and "support our troops". And I say this as a US resident, not as a US citizen.
