Look, whatever Clinton(and Bush Sr.) did with tax increases, it more likely halted the rise created by Reagans unprecedented tax-cuts than anything close to what you suggest(and it took 7 years of hard work to undo it at that). If you think I'm off base, then tell me why you think the Economy fell so hard BEFORE Clinton left office? Where the HELL do you get off claiming 8 years of prosperity for Clinton, when you KNOW the economy was crashing badly during his last year? He was given a strong economy which stayed strong for some long time, yet he departed leaving us with a crashing Economy(indisputable).

I must point out once again that Bush's tax cuts are targeted to leave the tax burdens of the rich VS the poor exactly as they've been. It is NOT wise to burden the "rich" further as you would have Bush do.
