Exactly what I have been pointing out to you this entire time..just "theories" . Along with the angels , heaven and hell , and the miracles and all the other mythological stories that have come to populate the landscape and enhance the borders of the book , and add the "power" to the pulpit preachers , who would not even preach to the common people, in the common tongue for centuries. You do know how entirely lucky you are now , to enjoy the infusion of the former pagan tools of logic , reason , observation & deduction and empiricism that has given rise to all the discoveries that have created the richness of the illusion around you , even to your own belief? The earliest great theologists and fathers could not turn away from this , and used and acknowledged it wisely. Man is a tool making being , and one of the greatest tools that we posseses, after our hands , is our own mind, which is the most intricate piece of work in the entire universe and creation , ie = the human brain. But out of nature we came , and one of the easier ways to imagine your "hell" , would be to try and understand the lower instinctive nature that each one of us posseses and can be demonstrated easily , that is reflexive and owing no alliegience to anything else but one's own self-preservation . And exists within that framework of our own biological and physiological conditioning , from 100's of 1000's of years of life in nature...still wired into our brains, a dream of the past not yet forgotten. And this is quite easily understood , when one observes the wild nature from out which we came . To repeat this story of "original sin " and "hell" , from out of some superstitious past collection of myths , but does nothing to improve our current understanding of ourselves, except paint an easy picture for those in who's minds have no ability to focus long enough to draw their own conclusion about themselves. So must have story-books from which to live. Hell is a fiction and a useless "theory" you and many still seem to be enamoured with , yet I see you only fumbling around in confusion , clinging to and futilely explaining away and repeating by "rote", as if it had some real meaning . It is absurd as the phrase "fear God". Not to say though , there is within our capabilities also to act in ways of extreme self sacrifice without thought of ourselves and endure great hardship for the sake of others . Yes it may be rare , but happens all the time in many manifestations and also part of something very special in our nature , from out of love of nature, and life itself.
