IMHO wont cut much leverage : I used to live in the SFO bay area. Chamber of commerce was boring as a visitor.
Now I live in PA. no way I'd spend money either to visit or to protest! Now, if the restaurants along the Pier were to refuse patrons based on their political inclinations, that might make a difference - lots of law suits!

We can call the Chamber of Commerce and City Hall in SFO and tell them how long it will be until we visit again...if ever.

The tourist world is shrinking daily it would seem.

Tourist dollars are important in SFO.

But they could care less where they came from. They just had the Police Chief and five top cops resign as they were indicted for a cover up.

I love San Francisco. Who wouldn't? Part of it's charm is it's craziness. Any place that would elect Willie Brown as it's Mayor deserves what it gets.
