I certainly don't defend Saddam. He is crazy, like a fox. By dragging out the destruction of weapons, if that is what is going on, he is forcing the Bushies to come out with ever increasing rhetoric that will strangle themselves in the eyes of the world. Just watched Powell expressing the great concern for the welfare of the Iraqi public. It was pitiful. It's an insult to think that any of us are buying it. This concern for the Iraqi public has been lacking since 1991 along with the want of their oil. Tell me there isn't a connection.
