I just realized something obvious. By the time all the unfortunate folks who got suckered into the stock bubble repent of their unwisdom and get out, they will be deeply into bond funds, which have done so well for the last few years. Just in time to get wiped out there by inflation and rising interest rates.

There must be tens of millions of middle-aged to retirement-age people who thought they were rich three years ago and who will be lucky to retire on a liveable income from their pensions or 401Ks.
