True, but... I think HPQ really blew it by not restating all the other quarters with the same assumptions so fair comparisons could be made.

Well, actually, they did restate historical comparisons using the new expense allocation technique. It wasn't in the press release, but when they compared sequential and year over year results the previous quarter and previous year were given using the new expense allocation method. They said that clearly on the conference call.

Anyway, decent chance to get some HPQ shares on the cheap until we see what happens next quarter.
