<If the belief is based on careful thought and consideration and still strongly held it is one thing>> I happen to believe it is. It's not as if we didn't know this could happen after 9/11. At that time we were told there would be some private battles and some public ones. I personally view this as a needed step. The world may not like it but I think they would like it less if the US were to pull back and become isolationists which is what I would do if I didn't get the backing of the global community. That would require a change on how we live here in the US but I think it would be even worse for the rest of the world.
