"I'm delighted to know that you have committed to doing your part for clean air by giving up your car and all driving and only travelling by foot or bicycle"

On what basis do you "know" something which I have neither avowed nor suggested?? Riding a bike is not the only way to support environmental values. Many people are incapable of riding bikes.

"I'm glad that you are not one of those people who complain about a problem while at the same time exacerbating it."

True. I was supporting the supposition that clean air is the concern of all people. I don't know if you agree with that, but if you do, then we definitely share kindred ideas of human responsibility as regards this issue.

It is worth repeating what I said. It has already attracted your support, which is progress--and for which I thank you...

"humans have the choice to be thoughtful in how they process or use resources. Filthy air is a health issue."
