You don't keep running the hot water once the bath tub is full; and your thermostat turns off the heat when the house is warm.

If you suggesting greater conservation then I have no problem with that idea.

Finding efficient ways of producing energy by reducing harmful environmental toxins can only be a good thing--with which all intelligent and rational people can only concur.

1 - CO2 is not really toxic. You have it in your body constantly and exhale it in every breath.

2 - Most ways to produce items with less CO2 or with less toxins are less efficient not more. Of course in many cases the reduction of environmental harm might be worth the lost efficiency.
