Bush is in a pickle because he will either rescind tax cuts or face mammoth deficits. He will be in the same position his "read my lips" Dad was in. His Dad made the right decision which helped CLinton get the economy going faster. GW may not make the right decision. he is more stubborn, even when his policies clearly aren't working. But anything can happen in politics. Re-election trumps every other Bush motivation. He will do anything to try and win.
