Far be it from me to offer this post into this wonderful conversation, but since you are dying for an answer, here it is:

I'm not surprised American students are so stupid these days... you can thank the liberal education system that removed reading, writing, and math from the curriculum and replaced it with masturbation training and condom exercises... what a shameful disgrace...

(1) Intelligence, or its lack thereof (i.e. 'stupidity') has nothing to do with education.

So if you think American students are 'stupid', it must be hereditary. One more reason for you to seriously consider my previous offer of eliminating yourself from the gene pool through suicide.

(2) I would think American students, like their counterparts in Europe, would be able to understand and learn more than just three or four subject matters through the course of their education - i.e. science and humanities, as well as those pertaining to practical matter such as sanitary reproduction.

If you believe their capacity is limited to only a few subjects, I agree with you that those should be predominantly scientific.

OK. Completely disagree with you. American students are not stupid. Some are, some aren't.

Reading, writing, and math are still a part of the
curriculum. As are many other things.

Health has been taught for many decades. Teaching kids
to protect themselves from STDs is just smart. It doesn't take that much time.

I hope you find peace.
