As you know, diversification went out the window in the late 1990s. People had to keep up with their neighbors' tech gains ya know. Actually that person has been a good sport about it. No complaining much. He had to postpone retirement though. I suspect this is a common occurance.

Speaking of that, next you will like see a crunch in pension funds underfunded by common stock. A house of cards. And in ones like General Motors where they can tap the companies profits to compensate it will get even nastier for the stock price. GM is an interesting case now that I mention it, down to 31 from 96 and lower than it was 12 years ago. Not to mention a lot of mouths to feed.

... but that's become the American way. If you don't get what you want, don't take responsibility... blame someone else... and if you're really lucky you can SUE too!
