Hey, "cool" post ... If Jesus got you hugging and kissing the world , and focussing on the things of beauty and matters important to your heart , then I'm all for Jesus ! I've seen Hindus and Buddhists come to know Christ and it is a very inspiring sight to see because they are so dramatically overwhelmed due to their very different upbringing And I have seen many "Christians" as well turn to Buddhism and Hinduism and are doing quite well. I currently also see Yoga , the ancient Hindu science of uniting mind and body and with what is called "spirit" , sweeping this nation ...and one of the more healthier movements in our country's latest incarnations , one could ever hope to see , and very timely. And it can hardly be called a "fad" , since it has been touching our shores now for almost a century, but in great numbers for over 40years quietly growing to great popular proportions. And interestingly also , even 500years of Islam's often brutal domination over India could not make even the slightest dent in converting the Hindu , nor could Christianity. God's divine plan at work ? They will be the largest population of any country on earth some day . Yoga was a beautiful free gift offered to the world , you should try to seek a Guru , and something must/should be done for a country that is suffering from an increasing 40% physical obesity , wouldn't you say scott? It's great for the "flexibility" , of mind and body, even help the Jew love Jehova and keep his commandments better , the Christian love Jesus and bear their "crosses" , and the Mohammedan submit to Allah more sincerely ! I am meeting more and more young Jews that are Yogis now , young Christians too .... Much of the truest "scripts of God" , BTW, are written in the language of you're own body and mind and life experience in the "here & now", and not the "hereafter" ...if you believe in a real living God. And though we may have angel-bodies someday .... I have many sources to great living teachers & masters if you are interested . ;-)
