right! I caught some good stuff last night. Bob Schneider at Antones ...10 bucks...and it was BIG BAND night at my fave dive....more horns onstage than people in the audience...the overwhelming sound just rips through you. It's amazing. No amplification either...free then there was the disgusting display down on 6th street.....fat tuesday and all. It was like some sort of post war dooodfest. Whenever a girl would start to "earn" beads the crowd of thugs would rush around her, all of them carrying cameras, and squash her within their circle of desperation...jeez it was ugly
