American already had the lowest tax rates in the western world for the rich making us a tax haven. Do the math as to how badly our society needs the rich to pay their traditional fair share. Or else. When they rich get off easy, lower rates plus tons of write-offs, they pay less taxes than average working people and the treasury gets drained. Cut the "sosialism" BS. Every country in the world is more or less socialist including ours. The right-wing has managed to tar socialism as a bad thing. In fact, every public service we have is socialist, except maybe the military. Socialism is just another name for "government run".
