I told a friend during the last election when he was voting for Bush, that he was voting himself out of a job. Within a year his son, daughter, and himself were all laid off from different companies.
I also told him shortly before he got his pink slip that "unemployed republicans make for good democrats". I hope he'll vote for his own personal interest in the next election.
