Do you think there will not be?

Remember the last Gulf War, in which we were told by liberals (and a few conservatives) there would be TENS OF THOUSANDS of Americans coming home in body bags. In the end, a few hundred dead, mostly as a result not of the war but what amounted to an Iraqi terrorist attack by scud missle.

This time, we have better weapons.

Honestly, there is no reason to expect significant casualties on our side, and I'm not even convinced there will be on the Iraqi side, as we may well see mass defections before the war begins in earnest.

Yes.

However, I fully expect that if we do not keep an occupying army in Iraq until it's fully rebuilt, there will be millions of Iraqi deaths after the war.
