A Dow Jones Newswires Column By Stephen Cox, CMT

10Y-Note Euro$ DJIA NASDAQ S&P TSE 300
(CBOT) (IMM) COMP 500
Next Resist. 116-22 98.91 7908.42 1367.07 844.23 6449.81

Next Support 114-28 98.65 7579.70 1278.35 785.28 6275.65

EUR/$ $/Yen Nikkei JGB CRB Gold Crude
225 (TSE) (Comex) (Nymex)
Next Resist. 1.1110 119.07 8821 143.36 247.81 360.30 39.99
First Resist. 1.1029 118.63 8651 143.32 246.05 357.70 38.82

First Support 1.8369 116.93 8359 143.19 244.24 349.00 35.80
Next Support 1.0789 115.54 8197 143.10 242.97 346.50 34.65
T-Note: A decisive move above first resistance, if it's confirmed on the
Friday settlement, will be a long-term technical breakout.

Eurodollar: Wednesday's technical breakout above 98.75, now the important
intraday level, points the market higher.

Nasdaq: The index is technically weak below intraday 1317.78.

S&P 500: Technical levels are unchanged. Rallies will probably be turned back
just below first resistance.

DJIA: Technical levels are unchanged. The Average is technically weak below
first resistance, but that level may be tested, or nearly, by an early rally.

TSE 300: The index is bearish and pointed down to second support in coming
sessions.

CRB Index: Look for a dip to first support.

Gold: Second resistance is a potential short-term top.

Crude: Technical levels are unchanged. A decisive move above intraday $37.10
will still imply a test of first resistance.

EUR/USD: First resistance is a potential short-term top.

JGB: Atest of first resistance is likely.

USD/JPY: A test of first support may touch off a bounce up to intraday
Y117.05.

Nikkei 225: Technical levels are unchanged. Look for steady to slightly lower
early trading.
